The Project:

Sweat For Others undertook a new project in Nova Scotia. During the spring and summer of 2010, we were knocking on doors to help raise funds for the IWK Children’s Hospital. We would like to thank everyone involved for taking the time to listen to our team and support our efforts in this worthy cause. The SFO team was around to various homes to offer to aerate lawns at a reasonable price as part of this project. We hope everyone enjoyed our lovely service while at the same time felt good about making a difference.

What is Lawn Aeration?

The idea behind lawn aeration is to bore small holes into the ground. These small holes help so that more oxygen and water can reach more of your lawn, giving it the nutrients that it needs. Having a freshly aerated lawn helps it become healthier and greener for the warmer months.

“It was a pleasure to participate in this aeration project to help beautify the neighborhood and help the IWK. Lawn looks great and I feel great.” – Resident of Halifax
