Sweat for Others is focused on providing Atlantic Canadians with an easy opportunity to get active, while giving back to our communities. We only accept organizations and events that we feel fit with this overall business goal.
We have been lucky to have worked with many great organizations that work tirelessly to provide much needed services to their communities.
How to book an event with Sweat for Others?
Booking an event with us is easy. Simply fill out our contact form and send us as much information about your organization, your cause, and how you feel you would benefit from the support of Sweat for Others. Don’t forget to leave your contact information and we will get in contact with you as quickly as possible.
How much money can we raise?
This mainly depends on the type of event agreed upon, the time of year, and your specific goals. We have donated as little as $50 to organizations from events, or as much as $1000.
What’s involved in planning these events?
We take care of all the event planning surrounding the events, including promotions, volunteering, facilities, additional sponsorship if necessary, and all other aspects. All we ask is that you promote the events however and whenever possible to your staff, family, and friends. Also, if anyone from your organization would like to participate or volunteer that would be extremely helpful.
What to expect at an SFO event
We aren’t called Sweat for Others for nothing – so expect to get sweaty.
All of our events contain some sort of physical and active component. Whether we throw a sporting tournament, a family fun day, or a variety of outdoor adventures and challenges, you can expect to get a great workout while feeling good about giving back.
Depending on the size of the event, we may also have prize give-a-ways and free or cheap food. Regardless, it will always be a fun time.
