Aeration Project - 2010
Sweat For Others is undertaking a new project in Nova Scotia. During the spring and summer of 2010, we will be knocking on doors to help raise funds for the IWK Children's Hospital. Please take the time to listen to our team and support our efforts in this worthy cause. The SFO team will be around to various homes and offer to aerate people's lawns at a reasonable price as part of this project. We hope everyone will enjoy our lovely service while at the same time feeling good about making a difference.
Why the IWK?
The IWK Children's Hospital is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia and has a huge impact on our provincial community, as well as in the rest of the maritimes. They have done many things for so many people over the years and can continue to do so with help from people in the community. Without the IWK, thousands would be without hope. The hospital does many things, such as taking care of children, women, families as well as doing research for new possibilities.
The IWK is a very family oriented place with a positive environment. However, they still need funds for research, priority equipment and so much more. For more information, please visit their website.
What is lawn aeration?
The idea behind lawn aeration is to bore small holes into the ground. These small holes help so that more oxygen and water can reach more of your lawn, giving it the nutrients that it needs. Having a freshly aerated lawn helps it become healthier and greener for the warmer months.
“It was a pleasure to participate in this aeration project to help beautify the neighborhood and help the IWK. Lawn looks great and I feel great.”
