Ultimate 2009
Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee Charity Tournament
Sweat for Others hosted a co-ed Ultimate tournament on September 26, 2009. This event was the premier event for Sweat for Others and was certainly a blast.
Teams from all over the Province were invited to participate. Four teams came through to participate on the day of the event. Northumberland, North Nova, NSCC and Stfx were able to make it out and play a total of six games. The tournament was round robin and after a hard fought battle between Stfx and North Nova, it was ultimately Stfx that came out on top.
For anyone new to the game of Ultimate Frisbee here are the basic rules to get you started.
Charity : This event was a fundraiser for two orphanages in Guatemala. These orphanages are in dire need of funds in order to stay in operation. Their only support is through donations like ours.
Venue : Parkdale field, New Glasgow, Nova Scotia
